The Christian Education Ministry is affiliated with two camps being Camp Vandemere and Cragmont. While being affiliated with these we take applications as well as offering support to families that may not be able to afford the cost by themselves.
Camp Scholarships are presented each spring to children ages 8-18, of Original Free Will Baptist Churches who desire to attend summer camp but who are in need of financial help to do so. Applications will be submitted to the Christian Education Ministry office by the child and parents or guardians, accompanied by a letter of attestation by the pastor of the church. If your church is without a pastor at this time you may submit the letter from the Youth Director. Applicants must be regularly attending church or participating in the youth activities of the said church at the time of application and verification. The Director will then send the monies to the appropriate camp directors if it is granted. The families or churches will provide any additional monies the children might need. All applications are due by Dec. 31st of the year prior to the camp season.

We try to the best of our ability to cover the full registration amount for each qualifying applicant, however this often depends on the number of applications received and the funds allocated. We could not implement this program without the help of our churches, auxiliaries, and individuals who support this effort. A sincere thank you to those who help us by sending in special donations. If your church or auxiliary would like to send a donation for the 2023/2024 camping seasons it would be greatly appreciated.
